A 4-player co-op first-person action dungeon crawler built with Unity and Photon Fusion 2.

About the Game

NIGHTFARER is a co-op dungeon crawler where up to 4 players team up online. Pick your class, fight through dungeon rooms, support each other, and unlock the exit portal to escape.

Key Features

• 4-player online co-op (Photon Fusion 2).
• 4 playable classes: Fighter, Tanker, Mage, and Healer.
• Monster AI using Finite State Machines (patrol, chase, dodge, berserk, and AOE stomp).
• First-person combat with active skill combos and teammate revive mechanics.

My Role & Technical Work

• Role: Team Lead / Core Systems & Networking
• Implemented real-time multiplayer using Photon Fusion 2 (lobby, player sync, and revive system).
• Retargeted and cleaned 3D character rigs using AccuRig; set up animation blend trees.
• Configured URP lighting, materials, and player HUD.
• Optimized shaders and draw calls to maintain stable 60 FPS.

Controls & How to Connect

• How to play online: Launch NIGHTFARER.exe -> Enter your name -> Host creates a room, other players enter the Room Code to join.
• Move: WASD | Sprint: Shift
• Attack: Left Click | Look: Mouse
• Class Skills: Q & E
• Revive Teammate: Hold F
• Pick Up Items: R
